Description
 Aerial roots are used to make high quality ropes sometimes after retting.
The split aerial roots are strong but not durable. It has good potential as
materials for handicraft and novelty items. In the Philippines, round or
splits roots are used for making baskets, hats, fans, and fruit trays.

 White vines are twining root climbers. The Stem is 0.4 - 0.6 cm or more in
diameter, without exudates striated, smooth, nodes jointed, internodes in
diameter 1 - 1.5 cm long; outer bark beige, inner bark grayish. The leaves
spirally arranged, crowded at the terminal portion of the stem, shiny and
green on both sides. 
Extraction
  White vine are extracted through retting the plant. Its roots are good for
making baskets and fruit trays.
